Background

CAM was specifically created as a Panel Manager to work on behalf of portfolio owners, both for the Original Creditors and for Debt Purchasers. The decision to create this company was made as a result of requests for the Group to manage a large number of accounts on behalf of third party clients – this process was to include managing other Debt Collection Agencies (DCA’s).

CAM has evolved and develops bespoke solutions based upon our clients needs, we are able to manage assets without managing the panel of DCAs for clients who prefer to retain this control. We have also successfully deployed CAM as a virtual DCA in a specific placement for other clients.

To avoid a perceived conflict of interest and to enable full transparency it was decided the best way forward was to set up a standalone company to perform this task. To date CAM are managing in excess of 2.5 million accounts totalling more than £3bn on its platform.
